The Davis Historic Eau Claire Home

The Davis unit is within one mile of Downtown Eau Claire’s shops, restaurants, and bars. It’s also a 10 minute drive to the music festival grounds (Eaux Claires, Blue Ox, Country Jam) and a 5 minute drive to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. This newly remodeled apartment is full of character and amenities including a small private patio. We have a gas grill available upon request. The space This property has a long history and we were determined to keep that history while updating towards a more modern, welcoming look. Constructed in 1881 during the waning years of logging in Eau Claire, the house features a gable front and wing façade and wood frame, characteristic of Folk Victorian architecture. The house maintains its original wood siding and windows, as well as its original decorative porch. With updated amenities guests will feel right at home. During the summer guests can enjoy a beautiful patio and short walks to local parks. Guest access The Davis unit is located on the right side of the building as you are facing the house. Guests have access to the entire unit plus back concrete patio and yard Due to road construction on Hudson Street, there is 1 off-street parking stall in rear of the property, which is accessed through the ally. There is on-street parking on either 2nd or 3rd Avenue. Other things to note The apartment is a two story with a bedroom and full bedroom on both levels with an original historical STEEP stair case for the second level which is not recommended for either seniors or young kids.
